  KiteSurf Course

    The course is set in 3 stages.
    First stage: theoretical and practical part with a brief presentation of the equipment. The trainee
    learns how to fly the kite on the ground until he be able to manage it completely, laying it down
    and turning it to the traction direction.    

    Second stage: will take place entirely over the water where the trainee will learn the Body Drag
    technique, learning to navigate with his body as a rudder. This technique will be crucial to recover
    the board when it moves away.   

    Third stage
: the trainee learns how to master the wing and board set, practicing the start on the
    water WaterStar. Next board navigation with the necessary techniques to evolve without taking
    safety risks to himself or to others.  
    The courses duration is approximately 10 hours, with a validity period of 6 months, there is no
    need for daily attendance, it will depend on weather conditions and trainees’ schedule (trainees
    will be accompanied and assisted after the ending of the course).
    In the end, the instructor grants an IKO certify with the established trainee’s level.   

    Entire course: 250€ (13 hours)
    Hour value: 25€
    Baptism: 50€ (2 hours)

    What’s the need for the IKO certify?
    The card is valid internationally in any IKO school or centre, it allows you to rent equipment
    and it proves your degree.

    Where is the school located?

    The school is located in Costa da Caparica (Praia da Nova Vaga) and the courses also can take
    place at the following beaches: Lagoa de Albufeira / Guincho / Figueira da Foz / Comporta

    What’s the equipment provided by the school?

    The school provides all the equipment.
